I.Precautions for Installing Zhongweidun Walk-through Metal Detectors:
Before installation, distinguish between the left and right doors, then install and erect them.
After erection, power on and test the infrared. If the infrared functions normally, proceed to test each zone to ensure thorough understanding.
3. If the security door operates normally, conduct further tests according to customer requirements.
4. After debugging, instruct the responsible person on testing until they are proficient.
5. Once the responsible person has mastered debugging, explain the issues to note during testing:
(1) During testing, individuals must pass completely through the security door and *walk 50 cm away from it before returning; otherwise, missed alarms may occur.
(2) If multiple people test simultaneously, the first tester must fully pass through the security door before the second tester proceeds; otherwise, missed alarms may occur. If the first tester triggers an alarm by carrying metal, the second tester must wait for the alarm to fully stop before proceeding; otherwise, missed alarms may also occur.
(3) During testing, avoid colliding with the security door, as this may cause false alarms.
(4) If large metal objects move near the security door during operation, false alarms may occur.
II. Common Issues and Solutions During Security Door Installation:
Reasons for infrared not counting during installation:
(1) Check if the left and right doors are installed incorrectly. If so, reinstall.
(2) If the doors are correctly installed, first check the voltage of the infrared module's transmitter and receiver. For the transmitter (modules J4 and J5), pins 1 and 3 are grounded (0V), and pin 2 should read 0.68–0.7V. For the receiver (modules J2 and J3), pin 1 is 5V power, pin 2 is the signal (0.1–0.12V), and pin 3 is grounded (0V). If the voltages are normal, inspect the STC89C52. If abnormal, check for burnt or poorly connected infrared tubes or wiring issues.
(3) Ensure the aviation plug is fully inserted.
2. Causes of false alarms during installation:
(1) Frequent false alarms may occur if large metal objects (moving or stationary) are within 1.5 meters. Relocate the door away from such objects. Also, check for wind exposure and advise windproof measures or relocation if needed.
(2) If environmental factors are ruled out, lower the sensitivity of each zone. If false alarms persist, try the following methods.
(3) Check if the voltage is normal (215–230V). Below 215V may cause false alarms; recommend a voltage regulator.
(4) If voltage is normal, adjust oscillation frequencies to avoid interference and retest.
(5) If interference persists, relocate the door, as this usually resolves the issue.
(6) Avoid adjusting the collection card's potentiometer unless absolutely necessary. If required, replace the card and note the change for potential reversion.
III. Power-On Failure During Installation:
(1) First, check if the voltage is within the normal range. Below 180V may prevent power-on; recommend a voltage regulator.
(2) If voltage is normal, test the transformer's input for 220V. If absent, check the fuse. If present, verify the small transformer's 6V output, then inspect the 5V supply to the mainboard and power button.
