I. Precautions When Installing Zhongweidun Walk-Through Metal Detectors:

1. Before installation, distinguish between the left and right door panels, then assemble and stand them upright properly.

2. After standing upright, power on and test the infrared sensors. If the infrared sensors are functioning normally, proceed to test each detection zone to ensure full awareness of the device's performance.

3. If the walk-through metal detector is operating normally, conduct testing according to the customer's requirements.

4. After debugging is complete, train the responsible personnel on testing procedures until they are proficient.

5. Once the responsible personnel have mastered the debugging process, explain the following important considerations:

(1) During testing, the person must pass through the walk-through metal detector completely, from one side to the other.

(2) The test subject should remove all metal items such as watches, keys, mobile phones, and belts before testing to establish baseline performance.

(3) During testing, maintain a consistent walking speed through the detector — neither too fast nor too slow.

II. Common Issues and Solutions:

1. Continuous False Alarms: This may be caused by environmental interference from nearby large metal objects, moving metal fixtures, or electrical equipment. Check and eliminate sources of interference, or adjust the sensitivity settings accordingly.

2. Uneven Detection Across Zones: Some detection zones may show higher or lower sensitivity than others. Recalibrate the sensitivity settings for each zone individually to ensure balanced performance.

3. Infrared Sensor Malfunction: If the infrared beam is blocked or misaligned, the device may not properly detect when a person passes through. Clean the infrared sensors and ensure proper alignment.

4. Power Supply Issues: Ensure stable power supply with proper grounding. Unstable voltage can cause erratic behavior or false alarms.

5. Regular Maintenance: Periodically clean the detector surfaces, check all connections, and recalibrate the device to maintain optimal performance over time.
